In light of the Federal Government directive, it has now been mandatory to link your National Identification Number (NIN) to your Bank Account.

The required documents to link your NIN

You will need to provide the following documents to link your NIN to Your First Bank Account:

• NIN Slip
• Bank Verification Number (BVN)
• Your FirstBank Account Details

Two (2) ways to Link your NIN to your FirstBank Account

(A)

• Login to your First Bank internet banking account.
• Navigate to the NIN Linking section and enter your NIN along with any other requested information.
• Submit your NIN linkage request and wait for the pop-up notification of successful linkage.

(B)

• Visit the Nearest First Bank Branch
• Request the NIN linking form from customer service.
• Fill out the form with the required information including your account details, NIN, and BVN.
• Submit the completed form for processing and await a confirmation message showing that you have successfully linked your NIN.
